Conditioning Treatments The condition of your hair is of utmost importance to the outcome of the style! You must first determine what the hair needs, be it moisture or protein This is the start of your service.
Treatments should be done no less than twice monthly and should be specific to each client. Moisturizing conditioning agents are reccommended for clients who have chemically treated hair, and protein is recommended for all hair types, periodically.
Sewn in Weaves
Sewn in Weaves, are sewn onto the hair. Your hair is first braided, starting at the scalp and creating a series of evenly spaced rows. The weaves are then hand-sewn into the braids—a process that necessitates meticulous attention to detail and takes time to complete. Weaves and extensions are ideal for women with short hair who want to add length and fullness, but women with hair of any length can wear them. Can last any where from one month to several months with proper upkeep and periodic "touch ups "
Complete sewn in weaves This service is pictured in the "examples portion of the website, and allows for minimal styling, and is great for clients with thinning hair and alopecia, or just for women who want to give their own hair a rest.
Bonded weaves (glue in) Bonded weaves are glued directly onto the scalp in a particular way so as not to cause hair damage or look too bulky. They are ideal for temporary hair styles (one week to one month) and generally last no longer than one month. They can be shampooed by a profesional stylist , but isn't recommended for extended use.
Quick Weaves
Quick weaves are glued directly onto the hair , but first the hair is molded in a circular motion around the head for maximum flatness. and a "sprout " is created to simulate a scalp and acheive your desired hair style.This service is highly recommended when you want a style and your hair is too short, too long, or you want a color and don't want to color your own hair. this style lasts approximately 1 month..
Chemicals
Relaxers(touch up) - Sodium Hydroxide, or Sodium Thio-Glycolate , This is a straightening treatment
Virgin relaxers depending on length of hair ie. how much product is needed
Permanent Hair color
*Temporary Color This type of color lasts typically 1.5 months,(shampoos out) is clearly visible in sun light and is used best to cover gray. This service uses 0 peroxide or activators. it adds shine and makes the hair appear healthier.
Bleach Is used to lighten hair, and should be done only when the client intends to condition and really take care of the hair.
Texturizer used to loosen the natural curl pattern, clients with overly curly hair are great candidates for this look.
